RESIDENCE MANAGER: Bachelor’s Degree in Human Services or related field and one (1) year experience working with the developmentally disabled, or Associates Degree in Human Services or related field and two (2) years experience, with one (1) year being in a supervisory position working with developmentally disabled individuals; or High School Diploma with three (3) years experience and one year in a supervisory position in a program for the developmentally disabled and either actively taking college coursework toward a degree or participating in the Jefferson Rehabilitation Center Management Series until completion. $10.97/hr.

RESIDENCE MANAGER AIDE: Work in residential setting with persons with developmental disabilities providing direct care, assistance and coordination in daily living skills. Associates Degree in Human Services or related field and one year of experience working with the developmentally disabled or High School Diploma with two (2) years experience with the developmentally disabled.  Good oral and written communication skills required and a valid/acceptable NYS Driver’s License.  Must be med certified or the ability to be med certified within 90 days. $8.60/hr

DIRECT SUPPORT PROFESSIONALS:  Work in residential setting with persons with developmental disabilities providing direct care, assistance and coordination in daily living skills.  High School Diploma or equivalency preferred.  For those without a High School Diploma or equivalency, a pre-employment testing is required.  Experience working with the Developmentally Disabled preferred.  Good oral and written communication skills required.  Acceptable NYS Drivers License.  Driving/Non-Driving positions are available.  FT/PT RATES:  Earn up to $8.50/hr.  SUB RATES: Earn up to $7.90/hr. plus $.50/hr upon med certification.  Sign on Bonus $300 at 90 days and $150 at 6 months.

 

DIRECT SUPPORT PROFESSIONALS – DAY HABILITATION: High School Diploma or equivalency preferred.  For those without a High School Diploma or equivalency, a pre-employment testing is required. Experience working with the Developmentally Disabled preferred.  Good oral and written communication skills required.  Acceptable NYS Driver’s License. $7.45 /hr. Sign on Bonus $300 at 90 days and $150 at 6 months.

TEACHER AIDE: Minimum qualifications:  High school diploma plus Current Child Development Associate credential (CDA) or an AAS Degree in Early Childhood-Child Development, or twelve approved college credits in Early Childhood or teacher certification including Birth to 2. Hourly rate based on credentials and experience. This position follows a school calendar PLUS six weeks in the summer.

 

SUBSTITUTE TEACHER AIDES:  High School Diploma.  Hours on an “As Needed” basis.  No benefits. $9.00/hr.

 

SPEECH – LANGUAGE PATHOLOGIST OR CFY WITH NYS CERTIFICATION AS A TSHH OR TSSLD: Must be licensed & registered by NYS Department of Education as SLP with a NYS Public School Teaching Certification in Speech and Language Disabilities. Will provide center –based and community based speech and language services to children with special needs. Starting salary $55,456 annually plus benefits. $7,500 sign on bonus.

LPN: Must be licensed and currently registered with the NYS Ed. Dept. as a LPN. Two (2) to four (4) years experience working with the developmentally disabled preferred. Valid/acceptable NYS Driver’s License. 10.88/hr. + D.O.E

CNA:  Must be NYS certified. Must have a valid/acceptable NYS Driver’s License. $9.00/hr.

RN: Must be currently licensed and currently registered with the New York State Education Department as a registered professional nurse.  Experience with the developmentally disabled and/or Mental Health population encouraged.  Valid/acceptable NYS Driver’s License.  Starting at $38,521.60 annually. $1,500.00 sign on per year for 4 years.
